Temperature 溫度 可以數嗎？
英文名詞到底可數不可數，每次都是頭痛的問題，
一般來說，抽象概念不可數，具體一個一個的東西可以數。
但是「溫度」這種抽象概念為什麼可以數呢？？？？
原來，如果是「泛指溫度」仍是不可數，
例如： The temperature will dip down to 0 to 2 degrees on Wednesday.
但是如果是要指某一個溫度數值，就變成可以數了！ （因為有1度 2度 3度....各種度數～）
例如：Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures are about to plummet this weekend.
此外，temperature還可以用來指 「情勢的緊張程度」，情勢升溫／降溫。
這種抽象的表達，自然是不可數囉。
例如：The temperature of the debate has risen.
